Our History
After being closed for 10 months, we took ownership in November 2023 with a clear vision—to create a true country pub with fine ales, great food, and outstanding hospitality.
We replaced all beer lines to ensure top-quality ales and installed Sky Sports & TNT Sports, making us the perfect spot for live sports.
A talented chef and team joined us to bring our gastropub vision to life.
We continue to invest in our service, staff, and overall experience to make The Navigation better every week. We look forward to welcoming you!

Lovely pub. Very nicely decorated. Only stopped for drinks at the end of a long walk, but the drinks and friendly service were very welcome. Menu looked good so we plan to come back for food. Very dog friendly with water bowls provided and they even brought our dog a selection of free biscuits

While in the area on our narrowboat we have called in on a few occasions. Always a welcoming atmosphere, good food & a great choice of real ales from small independent brewers and dog friendly. Definitely would recommend a visit.

Great pub with very friendly and welcoming staff. Good selection of drinks available, including some very nice real ales. There was a live acoustic singer when I visited, an added bonus for me. Will definitely visit again.

Had a Sunday roast here yesterday. The food was perfect. Hot, nicely cooked & the service was very good. Would recommend. We will be back.
